AI Contract Overview
The contract involves the procurement of 5,000 JANTX1N2814B semiconductor diodes, a critical application item governed by MIL-PRF-19500/114J and MIL-PRF-19500R specifications, with full compliance required to DLA’s Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements identified by R and I numbers. The item is classified under FSC 5961 and must be sourced exclusively from qualified manufacturers listed in the Qualified Manufacturers List (QML) and qualified suppliers listed in the Qualified Suppliers List of Distributors (QSLD) and Qualified Testing Suppliers List (QTSL) as defined in Procurement Note M01. Strict traceability of the supply chain is mandated under DLA Directive Procurement Note C03, requiring contractors to retain documentation throughout the product lifecycle. The diodes must be free of intentional mercury or mercury compounds, with exceptions limited to specific functional uses approved by NAVSEA and subject to strict containment requirements per NAVSEA 5100-003D. Packaging must conform to MIL-STD-2073-1E and DLA Packaging Requirements RP001, using cushioning material A-A-59136 Class 1 Grade A with a density between 1.7 and 2.2 pounds per cubic foot, sufficient to protect component leads. Marking of each unit must comply with MIL-STD-129, including special marking code ZZ, and lead finish must be identified per IPC/JEDEC J-STD-609 with precise placement of lead-free or leaded indicators. The item is delivered FOB origin with inspection and acceptance occurring at the destination location, Robins Air Force Base, GA, under a 168-day delivery window with zero tolerance for variance in quantity. The contract is administered under a fixed-price type contract with alternate I, and invoicing must be submitted electronically via WAWF. All contractors must hold a valid UEI and CAGE code and provide accurate representations regarding small business status, socioeconomic categories, and compliance with cybersecurity requirements including NIST SP 800-171. Hazards associated with materials must be labeled per OSHA HazCom and MIL-STD-129, and all packaging materials must meet DLA standards without the use of hazardous substances. The contract is solicited under DIBBS and closed to responses by August 6, 2026,
