USAID/Senegal plans to award a five-year contract for the Senegal Entrepreneurship Promotion and Business Investment Program through full and open competition. The Program aims to support private enterprise initiatives across USAID’s diverse mission areas, including Feed the Future, Water & Sanitation, Power Africa, Trade Africa, and Democracy Governance & Human Rights. Its primary focus is to enhance entrepreneurial capacity by developing professional human resources capable of delivering business advisory services. These services are intended to improve agribusiness operations as well as financial and managerial performance, thereby fostering wealth creation and employment opportunities. A key objective is to strengthen value chains within the Zone of Influence, while also addressing cultural and economic barriers that limit women’s participation in decision-making processes. The current announcement serves as a Request for Information rather than a formal solicitation, signaling that the U.S. Government is not committed to issuing a Request for Proposals or awarding a contract at this stage. USAID/Senegal welcomes public feedback on the draft Statement of Objectives that will guide the forthcoming Request for Proposal. The contract will fall under NAICS code 541990 and be managed by the Agency for International Development’s office in Dakar. Questions and comments regarding this opportunity can be directed to the designated Acquisition & Assistance Specialist.
