Server Network Management

This is a Request for Information and Rough Order of Magnitude for Server Network Management. This Request for Information (RFI) is solely for information and planning purposes. The purpose of this RFI is to identify qualified sources capable of performing the work described in the Statement of Objectives (SOO). In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Your answers are intended to be used to help construct the Government acquisition strategy and may be used to structure the Request for Quote (RFQ). Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this notice. Respondents needing confidential treatment for any proprietary information they furnish must comply with the SEC's confidential treatment regulations at 17 C.F.R. 200.83. Responses to this notice will not be returned. Respondents will not be notified of the result of the review. The Forest Service reserves the right to terminate this request and change its requirements if needed. Any material submitted becomes the property of the Forest Service and will not be returned. Responding to this notice does not guarantee participation in any future activities. Instructions to Prospective Offerors: Contractors responding to this RFI are requested to provide the following: 1) An introduction of your technical capability to support the requirements in the SOO, including your actual experience. Supporting explanation and/or documentation should relay your company's knowledge and past performance in the areas of work. 2) Provide your Cage Code and point of contact. Provide your company size status for NAICS code 541512, Computer Systems Design Services. Provide any other NAICS code you believe is appropriate for this work along with justification. Identify if you have any government wide contracts available for this purpose. 3) Provide a rough estimate of cost for budget and planning purposes. Indicate whether the acquisition should be Firm Fixed Priced or Time and Material (T&M). If T&M, provide an estimate of fully-loaded labor rates to be utilized. 4) Provide any other recommendations or suggestions for improvement that will assist the Government in refining the requirement and determining the appropriate acquisition strategy.
