The contractor shall design, configure, operate, and maintain everything related to server operations/maintenance on three different networks at USFOR-A Headquarters, Kabul, Afghanistan. The contractor shall provide a minimum of 1 in-country Program Manager, and at least (3) three Service Technicians to support this effort; the Program Manager may be dual-hatted as one of the Service Technicians provided they are sufficiently capable of performing as a service technician. The Government will provide billetting, laundry, meals, and access to limited local medical facilities. All positions shall work 12 hours per day, 7 days per week; leave periods must be covered by replacement employees or by the remaining personnel so long as there is no gap in coverage. All personnel shall be "on-call" 24 hours per day should the servers go down. The contractor shall include all travel costs from CONUS to Kabul via commercial air in CLIN 0001. The Government will provide transportation via up-armored vehicles from/to Kabul International Airport (KIA) to USFOR-A as necessary. A rigid medical and dental clearance will be required. Due to the austere living conditions (shared sleeping and showering facilities) and owing to the fact that Afghanistan is classified as a war zone, contractors are strongly urged to conduct careful screening of prospective employees to determine suitability to these conditions for extended periods of time. Please refer to the Statement of Work contained within the Solicitation for more information. If you require additional information, please contact Gordon Jones, Contracting Officer, via email address: contact@example.gov
