Full Description

The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) in support of The VRC intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competition service contracts for a ZEPHYR workstation (Post PCR Repair Coverage Plan - 6 months) and WORKSTATION-SCICLONE NGS (Repair Coverage Plan - 6 months) with PerkinElmer Health Sciences, Inc., 710 Bridgeport Avenue, Shelton, CT 06484-4794. Please see the attached Statement of Work for further details. PerkinElmer Health Sciences, Inc. is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the ZEPHYR workstation and the SCICLONE NGS workstation and they are the only qualified source to provide factory certified service, maintenance and parts for this equipment. This is not a request for proposal. All responsible sources who are certified by PerkinElmer Health Sciences, Inc. as an authorized third party repair vendors may submit a proposal showing their capabilities and past performance repairing this type of equipment. The vendors shall provide certification from OEM that they are authorized to perform these services and have access to OEM parts and supplies. All responsible sources may submit a response that will be considered. The Government reserves the right to make a decision whether to this requirement is available for competition. All responses shall be submitted no later than Thursday, September 10, 2015 to Kemeley Torbert at email address torbertk@niaid.nih.gov.
