Service Maintenance Agreement for GE PET/CT system

The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 17 is conducting market research via a Sources Sought Notice for a firm-fixed-price service maintenance agreement to support GE PET/CT systems at the Olin E. Teague VA Hospital in Temple, Texas. The intended contract structure consists of a base year followed by four one-year option periods. The scope of work requires comprehensive full-service maintenance, including unlimited corrective maintenance and scheduled preventive maintenance performed according to GE OEM specifications. Key deliverables include 24-hour technical telephone support, the provision of all GE software updates and security patches, and documentation support for ACR/TJC accreditation and annual radiation safety testing. The agreement covers a specific suite of equipment, including the PET DISCOVERY PET/CT710, NM OPTIMA NM/CT 640, FlashPad HD Detector, Definiun 656 HD, AW SERVER, DIMPLEX chiller, MEDRAD MR XPERION, and MR 1.5T SIGNA ARTIST. To ensure quality and safety, all assigned service personnel must be OEM-trained and provide proof of such training. Additionally, the government is requesting letters of authorization from the original equipment manufacturer for qualified sources.
