Requirements:



The purpose of this acquisition is to obtain a service maintenance contract for the Stellaris 8 Confocal microscope in the NINDS Laboratory of Viral Immunology and Intravital Imaging (VIIIS) for mission critical experiments. The VIIIS currently uses this confocal microscope consistently to ensure standardization of research data and continuity with all previous lines of experimentation, the VIIIS needs to ensure the Leica Stellaris 8 (SN 8300000509) remains in good, workable, condition.


Contractor shall furnish all the necessary services, qualified personnel, material, equipment, and facilities, not otherwise provided by the Government as needed to perform the Statement of Work below:


· At least 1 annual preventative maintenance visit


· Must have unlimited on-site repairs, including replacement for service parts, components, or modules necessary for repairs


· Must have quick on-site response time for remedial services


· Must offer unlimited access to a technical support center


· Must respond to telephone calls within 2 hours


· Must have unlimited remote services


· Must have OEM firmware and software updates and update our Stellaris consistently


· Must have all services performed by factory-trained and certified Field Service Engineers with genuine Leica Microsystems parts to meet our original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications.
