The CIUSSS du Saguenay - Lac-Saint-Jean is seeking professional architectural and engineering services for the design, preparation of plans and specifications, and site supervision associated with the temporary relocation of clinico-administrative and external service spaces at 1236 rue d'Angoulême in Chicoutimi. The project involves renovating the entire ground floor and parts of the upper floor, with two of three wings on the upper level undergoing construction. Throughout this period, the basement, kitchen, and the third unaffected wing of the upper floor will remain occupied, requiring ongoing operation of services while construction is in progress. This operational continuity must be carefully considered in both tender documentation and future work. As the relocation is temporary, the project must incorporate sufficient flexibility to allow for medium- and long-term adaptability of space utilization in response to evolving organizational needs and upcoming projects. The solicitation, publicly posted in April 2026 with a response deadline in May 2026, is managed by the Government of Canada through CIUSSS du Saguenay - Lac-Saint-Jean. Interested professional firms are to contact the assigned contracting authority, ensuring that the project complies with federal standards and addresses the unique challenges posed by maintaining functional service areas during construction.
