Presolicitation Synopsis Servo Component Test Systems 309 Missile Maintenance Engineering (MXDEB) NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: This is a pre-solicitation synopsis in accordance with FAR 5.201. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the government. This synopsis is prepared in accordance with guidance found in FAR 5.207, and is prepared for the purpose of notifying potential offerors of an upcoming solicitation for labor necessary to remove, refurbish, test, deliver and reinstall two (2) (SCTS), National Stock Number (NSN) 4920-01-272-0071. The solicitation for this requirement will be posted under reference number FA8224-18-R-0030. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor FedBizOpps on a regular basis for the solicitation along with any amendments. The Ogden Air Logistics Complex (OO-ALC), Specialized Contracting Office (PZIMB), intends to negotiate with Testek Inc., on a sole source basis under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source to providerefurbishment of two (2) Servo Component Test Systems (STS) (National Stock Number (NSN), 4920-01-272-0071) and purchase one (1) Hydraulic Power Module (HPM). The Contractor shall provide all equipment, adapters, tools, supplies, labor, and management necessary for the entire design, delivery, installation, and training capable of meeting the Performance Work Statement standards. Delivery is approximately 83 weeks after date of award as confirmed by Testek Inc. All specs shall be in accordance to attached Peformance Work Statement. The solicitation will be posted under the same number FA8224-17-R-0030 on FedBizOps during the month of February 2018 through March 2018.
