This contract is for the procurement of 15 hydraulic servovalves under NSN 4810-01-150-5245. The acquisition is conducted under FAR Part 13.5 as a test program for certain commercial items, with a delivery schedule of 366 days and shipping terms set as FOB Origin. Due to a lack of complete technical data, the government intends to contract only with approved sources, specifically The General Electric Co. and Goodrich Corp. The solicitation process allows for the use of anonymous online reverse auctioning to determine final pricing. While price is a significant factor, the final award decision is based on a combination of price, delivery, and past performance. This is an unrestricted solicitation with a small business size standard of 500 employees, and all offers must be submitted in English and U.S. dollars.
