Sewer Outfall Receiving Environment Monitoring

The District of Ucluelet is soliciting proposals under solicitation number 2026-01 for the execution of its Sewer Outfall Receiving Environment Monitoring (REM) program. The contract covers the 2027, 2028, and 2029 monitoring years, with the option for the District to extend the term for two additional years through 2031. The successful consultant must adhere to strict sample preservation and labeling standards, utilizing recognized analytical methods from agencies such as the US EPA and BC MOE. Insurance requirements include minimum coverage of 2 million dollars for automobile liability, 3 million dollars for commercial general liability, and a combination of 1 million dollars per claim and 2 million dollars aggregate for professional liability. Payment terms are set at 30 days following the delivery of monthly invoices.
