Nature of Requirements:
Canadian Coast Guard has a requirement for spare propulsion shaft liners to be procured for the High Endurance Multi-Tasked Vessels (HEMTVs).
This procurement will be for two (2) sets of shaft liners as defined in this Statement of Requirement (SOR). These shaft liners will be kept as spares by CCG for use on the HEMTVs. To facilitate a friction fit on the propulsion shafts, the liners must be delivered in a rough cast state. CCG will manage the final machining of the shaft liners to fit.
Canada will have the right to exercise an option for up to two (2) additional sets of shaft liners. The requirement includes all associated technical requirement described herein including the Statement of Requirement (SOR) attached as Annex "A".
The delivery must be on or before the 31 March 2024.
The Request for Proposal includes the following Mandatory Technical Criteria:
Bidder must demonstrate that it has in place a Quality Management System (QMS) developed in accordance with ISO 10005:2018 "Quality management systems - Guidelines for quality plans. In order to achieve this demonstration, the Bidder must:
1. provide its valid ISO 9001 certification if applicable;
2. provide an example of its Quality Control Plans (QCP) as applied on previous projects for similar or greater sized shaft liners or shaft maintenance; and,
3. provide samples of the Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) developed in accordance with each of the QCP’s in 2 above.
