AI Contract Overview
The contract pertains to the procurement of a SHAFT, SHOULDERED component identified by NSN 3040007863182 and part number 719065-1, with an estimated quantity of five units under solicitation SPE7LX-26-U-8883. Delivery is required within 119 days after receipt of order, with FOB Origin terms meaning risk transfers to the government upon shipment from the contractor’s facility, though inspection and acceptance occur at the destination. The contract is structured as an indefinite-delivery contract below the simplified acquisition threshold and includes no binding minimum quantity or unit pricing, with a maximum potential value of $350,000.00. All technical and quality requirements are governed by the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, which supersedes other standards like ASTM D3951, while packaging must adhere to MIL-STD-129 for labeling and barcoding and RP001 for palletization. Sampling follows MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331 Table 1 with zero non-conformances required for acceptance, and critical, major, and minor attributes must meet specified verification levels or AQLs. Quality systems for manufacturers and non-manufacturers must conform to ISO 9001:2015, and configuration changes require formal engineering change proposals or variance requests. Cybersecurity compliance mandates a CMMC Level 2 self-assessment and fulfillment of NIST SP 800-171 requirements, with no Item Unique Identification mandated per DFARS 252.211-7003(c)(1)(i). Hazardous materials must be labeled per OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard, with safety data sheets submitted and updated as needed. The contractor must comply with clauses addressing equal opportunity, human trafficking, employment eligibility, sustainable products, export control, prohibition of hexavalent chromium, and electronic payment submission via WAWF. Payment, administration, and contractor representations are handled through standardized DoD systems with no specific COR/COTR designated. Submitting proposals requires use of the DIBBS portal by the August 4, 2026 deadline with no physical submissions permitted, and adherence to DLA’s simplified acquisition procedures as outlined in the Master Solicitation.
