AI Contract Overview
The contract calls for the procurement of 30 units of a square shaft (NSN 1440-01-447-7318) under solicitation number SPE4A6-25-T-33QQ, issued by the Department of Defense's ASC Commodities Division. The items are to be delivered to the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Distribution Center in Tracy, California, with a required delivery timeframe of 125 days from award. Packaging and shipping must adhere strictly to DLA’s established technical and quality standards, including ASTM D3951, MIL-STD-129 for marking and labeling, and DLA packaging requirements outlined in RP001. The contract stipulates that all technical data and quality requirements from the DLA Master List must be followed, ensuring the supplied items meet stringent quality and performance criteria. Quality assurance and inspection processes are governed by military standards MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331, with specific verification levels and acceptable quality levels applied to critical, major, and minor attributes. Sampling methods allow for zero non-conformance acceptance unless otherwise stated. The contract also addresses the removal of government identification on rejected items and mandates that acceptance and inspection occur at the destination point. Contract communications and coordination, including order details and contact information, are managed through an assigned point of contact at the DLA, with contract responses due by March 23, 2026.
