Shape Memory Alloy (SMA) Development and Alternate Forms Production

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration Glenn Research Center is seeking a provider for the development and production of Shape Memory Alloy (SMA) wire and alternate forms. This effort focuses on the processing, testing, fabrication, and delivery of materials specifically designed for evaluation in the construction of SMA tire technologies intended for use in extreme environments. The contractor is responsible for documenting all test data, analyses, processes, and procedures according to the guidelines of the funding program. This documentation will serve as the foundation for certifying any commercial off the shelf materials or products that emerge from the development process.
