AI Contract Overview
Solicitation SPE8E5-26-T-4091, issued by the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Construction and Equipment, is a request for quotations for nonmetallic protective seal sheets, specifically identified by NSN 9390-01-595-7239. The requirement consists of two line items, each for a quantity of one unit, with a required delivery date of January 26, 2026, and a delivery lead time of five days after receipt of order. The items are designated as Type I (Code K) with a non-extendable shelf life of 18 months. Inspection and acceptance will occur at the destination, with shipping addresses located in Hawaii and Indiana. The contract mandates strict adherence to MIL-STD-129 for marking and RP001 for palletization. Specific requirements for MRAP palletized shipments include the use of 10 by 10 inch fluorescent yellow stickers with bold black lettering, though specific OEM background colors are permitted for certain manufacturers. The procurement is not a small business set-aside and falls under NAICS code 327999. Compliance is required for the Buy American Act, the Berry Amendment, and various FAR and DFARS clauses, including those regarding hazardous material identification and the safeguarding of covered defense information. Invoicing and payment must be processed through the Wide Area WorkFlow system.

In addition to MIL-STD-129 markings, each MRAP palletized shipment shall include two, 10 inch by 10 inch fluorescent yellow sticker/sign/placard with the letters MRAP in 2 inch bold black letters and applied to one side and one panel of palletized load.
