Solicitation # SPE8ED-27-T-0184
This solicitation, issued by DLA Troop Support, Construction & Equipment Containers, is for the procurement of two shipping and storage container covers and access panel assemblies, identified by NSN 8145-01-600-4820 and part number 7517223-3 in tan. The contract requires strict adherence to a technical data package consisting of multiple reference drawings and quality assurance provisions. Inspection and acceptance will occur at the origin, and the items are to be delivered FOB Origin to the DLA Distribution DDSP New Cumberland facility in Pennsylvania. The contractor must comply with comprehensive packaging and marking standards, specifically ASTM D3951 and MIL-STD-129, while following DLA packaging requirements for procurement (RP001). Technical constraints include a prohibition on the intentional addition of mercury and the requirement for zero-based sampling plans per MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331. Administratively, the contract is governed by simplified acquisition terms and requires the use of the Wide Area WorkFlow (WAWF) system for invoicing. Compliance with the Buy American Act, Berry Amendment, and NIST SP 800-171 cybersecurity assessment requirements is mandatory.
