Solicitation SPE7L3-26-T-262P is a request for quotations issued by the Department of Defense, specifically the DLA Land and Maritime agency, for the procurement of 10 direct action shock absorbers. The required items are identified by NSN 2510-01-632-3033 and Ford Motor Co part number BC3Z-18125-E. The delivery is required by January 22, 2027, with a delivery timeframe of 115 days after receipt of order. The shipment is designated as FOB Origin and will be delivered to DLA Distribution San Joaquin in Tracy, California. The contract mandates strict packaging and preservation standards to prevent corrosion and damage. All bare metal must be preserved, moving parts must be lubricated, and each item must be individually packaged using weather-resistant, snug-fitting die-cut cushioning material to immobilize the product. Marking must comply with MIL-STD-129, and the contractor is prohibited from using Class I ozone-depleting chemicals. Inspection and acceptance will occur at the destination. Administrative requirements include the use of the Wide Area WorkFlow system for electronic invoicing and payment. The procurement is governed by NAICS code 336360 and incorporates various Federal Acquisition Regulation and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement clauses, including the Buy American and Balance of Payments Program and NIST SP 800-171 cybersecurity assessments. Quotes must be submitted via the DIBBS portal, and the use of additive manufacturing for the parts is prohibited unless specifically authorized.
