Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound (FLCPS) intends to solicit for East Penn Manufacturing Forklift Battery 4 EA P/N:18-G75-27EE / IST6H51, Forklift Battery 4 EA P/N:18-G75-21EE / IST6F72, Side Loader Battery 2 EA P/N: 36-G105-9EE / IST8178.
This requirement is sole sourced to East Penn Manufacturing due to the batteries being for forklifts onboard an MSC vessel which are considered critical safety items. Only the OEM can provide these critical safety items. Interested companies may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, which will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
The Government will evaluate the offeror’s price for reasonableness and past performance as part of the responsibility determination in accordance with RFO 12.203.
