Solicitation # RA027
Solicitation W912CH-27-R-A027 is a request for proposal for a single five-year, firm-fixed-price requirements contract for the procurement of Buttstock Assemblies, NSN 1005-01-576-8901, Part Number 13026046. This procurement is 100% set aside for small businesses under NAICS code 332994. The government will evaluate proposals based on two factors, with the delivery schedule being significantly more important than price. Specifically, the delivery schedule for CLINs 0011 through 0015 will be rated as outstanding, good, or acceptable based on how many days sooner than the solicited schedule the contractor can begin deliveries. Proposals exceeding the required schedule by more than 45 days will be considered deficient and unawardable. The contract includes rigorous technical and security requirements, including a Technical Data Package with distribution code D and adherence to the TACOM Operations Security Plan and guidelines for Controlled Unclassified Information. Contractors must comply with MIL-STD-2073-1 and MIL-STD-129 for packaging and marking, and are required to perform First Article Approval-Contractor Testing. Invoicing and payment will be processed electronically through the Wide Area WorkFlow system. Proposals must be submitted in English and US dollars via email to the designated contract specialist and contracting officer by November 19, 2026, at 3:30 PM EST.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), has a requirement for two types of 12-gauge shotguns (one for Standard Duty Shotguns and one for Marine Shotguns). The NAICS code for this procurement is 332994. The projected date for the issuance of the solicitation is on or about December 19, 2008. ICE intends to procure on an unrestrictive basis in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12. The government anticipates awarding a single Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract but reserves the right to proceed with a multiple award if it is in the best interest of the government. All contractors submitting a response to the solicitation will be required to submit nine (9) of each type of shotgun for qualification testing. The ordering period of any resultant contract(s) will be one (1) base year with four (4) option years. The anticipated award date is March 2009. The distribution of the resulting solicitation will be accomplished solely through the FedBizOpps website. Hard copies of the solicitation documents will not be available; therefore, no written, telephone, or facsimile requests for the documents will be accepted. The FedBizOpps site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including the solicitation and any amendments, will be distributed solely through the FedBizOpps site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps site to assure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. All contractors submitting a quotation are reminded that registration in the Central Contraction Registration (CCR) database (www.ccr.gov) is mandatory to be considered for award.
