The Department of the Navy (DoN) US Naval Hospital Bremerton intends to negotiate a sole source contract with SIEMENS HEALTHCARE DIAGNOSTICS INC., 115 Norwood Park South, Norwood MA 02062-4633 the sole source provider for US Naval Clinic Oak Harbor's requirements. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106 (b)(1)(i). This notice will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Website (https://fbohome.sam.gov/). Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The North American Classification System Code is 334516. Based on market research conducted and contacts made with knowledgeable individuals within the government it has been determined DON's requirement can only be provided by SIEMENS HEALTHCARE DIAGNOSTICS INC as they are the sole provider for the SYSMEX CA-660 and its reagents. Projected Term: Base Year plus four (04) option periods.
