Sierra Wireless Products or equivalent The requirement is to procure 15 Sierra Wireless (SEMTECH) XR80 modems specifically to provide flexible radio over IP communications options for Royal Canadian Mounted Police officers using the Atlantic Trunked Mobile Radio (TMR) network in Eastern Canada. These specific devices were selected based on our experience in testing this model in conjunction with Royal Canadian Mounted Police radio equipment, Motorola Solutions and Bell Public Safety on the Atlantic TMR network. In this solicitation, Royal Canadian Mounted Police plan to acquire the equipment and specified this product by brand name to ensure compatibility, interoperability and interchangeability with the current Atlantic TMR network design.
