Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Silver Stripping and Plating of Air Force Landing Gear This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with FAR 12.6. The Government contemplates award of one firm-fixed price (FFP) indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract resulting from this solicitation. This is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 332813 with a size standard of 500 employees. This acquisition is for the procurement of Silver Stripping and Silver Plating services on components of Air Force landing gear components. The Contractor must be located within 50 miles of Hill Air Force Base for the pickup and delivery of the components. See the attached PWS, CDRLs, SF Form 1449 Solicitation, and Annual Quantity Estimate. The Contractor shall provide FFP rates for each item for all ordering periods. Ordering periods are as follows: Ordering Period 1: 15 January 2016 - 14 January 2017 Ordering Period 2: 15 January 2017 - 14 January 2018 Ordering Period 3: 15 January 2018 - 14 January 2019 Ordering Period 4: 15 January 2019 - 14 January 2020 Ordering Period 5: 15 January 2020 - 14 January 2021 The contract is expected to be awarded on or around 15 January 2015. Offerors are advised to review 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors and 52.212-2 Evaluation, in the attached SF 1449 Solicitation for instructions and evaluation criteria.
