NOTICE**NOTICE**NOTICE**NOTICE**NOTICE THE TIME/DATE OF THIS EVENT HAS CHANGED FROM SEPTEMBER 19, 2012 TO SEPTEMBER 24, 2012. The Defense Logistics Agency, Aberdeen will hold an Industry Day at the Aberdeen Proving Ground Army Installation, in Aberdeen, Maryland, on September 24, 2012. Registration will begin at 12:30 PM and the Industry Day event will begin at 1:00 PM in Room 10A/10B, Building 6008, Mallette Training Facility, Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD. This Industry Day is intended to encourage maximum participation by small business and large business for the following requirement. This requirement will be solicited as a partial set-aside requirement as referenced in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), 19.502-3 - Partial set-asides: The Government has a requirement to manufacture and support specific ITT Designed Single Channel Ground to Air Radio System (SINCGARS) assemblies, including the integrated Communications Security (ICOM) RT-1523B, RT-1476, RT-1477, RT-1478. The requirement also includes the System Improvement Program (SIP) RT-1523C, the Advanced System Improvement Program (ASIP) RT-1523E, RT-1478D, and the ASIP-Enhanced RT-1523F, AM-7238, and AM-7239. The Government intends to award an Indefinite Quantity, Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) contract with a two year base period and no options. Additional information regarding this requirement will be posted to this notice as soon as possible. The attachments will include a Draft Solicitation and Draft Attachments. The Government is also providing Top Drawings and Part Number Lists to identify specific requirements. Please respond to Bradley Holtzapple; Bradley.a.holtzapple.civ@mail.mil, with business contact information prior to close of business, Tuesday, September 14, 2012, to arrange for access for the Industry Day event. Prior installation access arrangements are required to attend this Industry Day event.
