Skate Park Obstacle, Demolition/Replacement

The City of St. Petersburg is soliciting qualified vendors for the demolition and replacement of a skate park obstacle at the St. Petersburg Regional Skate Park, located at Campbell Park. The scope of work includes the demolition and removal of an existing center curved ledge obstacle, the furnishing and installation of one new tabletop obstacle, and the subsequent restoration and cleanup of the site. The project requires skilled vendors with expertise in skate park construction and concrete work to ensure the new installation is durable, safe, and compatible with the existing design. The contract will be awarded to the most qualified vendor based on experience, references from at least three similar projects, and the ability to demonstrate necessary financial and technical resources. Mandatory requirements for award include a valid competency license in a regulated trade and registration with the Florida Division of Corporations. The agreement is subject to various Florida Statutes, including E-Verify compliance, public records laws, and disclosures regarding scrutinized companies and foreign countries of concern. Payment will be made in accordance with the Local Government Prompt Payment Act, with a five percent retainage held until substantial completion. The period of performance extends from the effective date until final completion and the expiration of all warranty periods.
