The US Army Contracting Command – Redstone, CCAM-MSA-B, Redstone Arsenal, AL, is issuing this sources sought notice as part of its market research to identify parties interested in and capable of manufacturing the Skid, Shipping and Storage, NSN: 1450-01-687-4300, to support the PATRIOT Missile System.


This item is restricted as a sole source item. This requirement is designated for sole source competition because it requires the use of Systems Readiness Directorate (SRD) approved sources and proprietary technical data. Lockheed Martin Corporation (Lockheed Martin), CAGE Code 64059 is the only SRD approved source for P/N 14101260-2  and this procurement should all be restricted to CAGE 64059. Even though this item is restricted your Company may submit documentation as evidence that you can source this item.


The contemplated contractual action is a five-year Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, with a minimum quantity of 24 units and a maximum quantity of 56 units between March 2027 – March 2032.


Interested parties are requested to submit a capabilities statement no longer than one (1) page in Times New Roman font, size 10. This documentation must address at a minimum the following items:


1.) Description of the same or similar work your company has performed in the past to manufacture the same or similar requirement.


2.) Explanation of your company’s ability to perform at least 50% of the tasking described, in compliance with FAR 52.219-14. Company information: name, CAGE / SAM UEI, business size (small or large) for respective NAICS per sam.gov Reps & Certs (FAR / DFARS), FAR 52.219-1.


3.) Indicate any SBA Certified Socioeconomic status per the SBA Dynamic Small Business Search profile.

All data received in response to this Sources Sought Notice that is marked or designated as corporate or proprietary will be fully protected from release outside the Government. The Government is not committed nor obligated to pay for the information provided, and no basis for claims against the Government shall arise as a result of a response to this Sources Sought Notice.
