DLA Weapons Support-Columbus is conducting market research to assess industry capability for an Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) to procure the Sleeve, Antenna Support (NSN 5985-01-072-4342), a military-grade component governed by technical drawing NR 80063 SM-B-944747, Revision B dated October 3, 1989. The Government has determined it lacks complete and unrestrictive technical data for this item and intends to procure exclusively from approved sources under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), indicating a potential sole-source or limited-competition acquisition. This sources-sought notice, issued under solicitation number CM26119009 and posted on May 6, 2026, is strictly informational and not a solicitation; no obligation or commitment is created by this notice, nor will the Government pay for responses. Interested businesses are required to complete and submit the attached market survey questionnaire via email to Brandon Preece at brandon.preece@dla.mil by May 12, 2026, with responses used solely to determine feasibility, commercial item status, and optimal acquisition approach. All technical drawings and specifications are accessible only through the DLA cFolders system using the solicitation identifier MR010724342. The contract, if awarded, would have a three-year base period with up to four one-year option periods, potentially extending performance to seven years. Respondents must provide their CAGE code, business size status, and information on commercial sales history, including whether the item has been sold in the commercial marketplace in the same form. The Government is evaluating the item's potential classification as a commercial item under FAR Part 12 and will assess pricing reasonableness through commercial sales data. Packaging, marking, and inspection requirements are expected to align with the referenced military drawing, although no explicit MIL-STD or labeling standards are detailed. The place of performance is Columbus, Ohio, and all submissions must be sent electronically to the designated contracting specialist; no online portal or physical delivery is required. Pricing, quantities, and delivery schedules remain undetermined as this phase seeks input on industry capacity, guaranteed minimums, and delivery timelines rather than formal quotes or cost proposals.
