The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Solid Waste and Emergency Response (OSWER) is hosting a Vendor Day on October 21, 2014, aimed at providing vendors with a comprehensive overview of OSWER programs along with upcoming contracting opportunities. The event offers vendors a chance to engage directly with OSWER program managers and contracting officials, participate in one-on-one matchmaking sessions, and foster partnerships, especially encouraging the mentoring and involvement of small businesses. The event will take place at the EPA's Potomac Yard location in Arlington, Virginia, running from 8:30 AM to 4 PM. Attendance requires prior registration due to limited space, with only 120 spots available and a strict policy allowing only one representative per company. Registrations must be submitted by October 10, 2014, and any changes or cancellations should be requested by October 8, 2014. Participants must be on the approved guest list to gain entry. For further details or inquiries, David Allen, a Program Analyst with the EPA’s Office of Small Business Programs, serves as the point of contact. This event is strategically designed to enhance communication between OSWER and its vendor community, promoting awareness and collaboration on future contracting prospects.
