Smart APEX II X-ray units service contract

The solicitation/contract number for this acquisition is FA9300-14-M-T004. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with FAR 12.6. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation for this requirement. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-73 and DFARs Publication Notice (DPN) 20140428. Federal Supply Code (FSC) code is J066. NAICS is 811219 and the size standard is $19,000,000. Please carefully review requirements detailed below. This is a sole source acquisition for Bruker AXS however all responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the Government if received before the response deadline. The Air Force Test Center/PZRA, Edwards Air Force Base, CA is seeking to purchase the following item: Service contract for Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) on-site X-Ray instruments SMART APEX II (serial #2393 and 4018). The purpose of the service contract is to provide timely repair service in the event of malfunction, as well as distribution of part and software upgrades. Preventive and remedial maintenance and other service support performed under this contract include all labor, materials, parts, shipping, and transportation required to perform tis contract. Please see attached Statement of Work for full details.
