The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Herlong, CA intends to issue a solicitation for the requirement of: Smoke Detection Device Upgrade and installation. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238210; the small business size standard is 500 employees. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right to make formal single or multiple awards. Delivery is required by September 30, 2026. Late deliveries will result in a negative performance evaluation.
A site visit will be conducted on June 25, 2026 at 10:00 am. Any interested parties are to contact myself at tpolan@bop.gov to receive a packet to fill out to be cleared to enter the institution. All packets must be received by COB June 22, 2026. Any individual who does not receive clearance to enter the institution by June 24, 2026 will not be permitted to enter the institution.
