The Defense Logistics Agency DLA Troop Support Philadelphia Operational Rations Program Office has issued a Sources Sought Notice under solicitation number SPE3S1-26-R-XXXX for a commercial-style snack mix. The required product consists of a nut and raisin mix containing almonds, filberts, peanuts, raisins, and walnuts, packaged in 56 gram flexible packages according to specification PCR-N-003B, Type I for operational rations. A critical requirement for the product is a minimum shelf life of 36 months at 80 degrees Fahrenheit. While the snack mix is a component of the UGR-E, final assembly will take place at the Defense Depot in Tracy, California.
