The Lake Norconian Flow Control Station requires demolishing an existing hydraulic control valve and vault, then constructing a new above-grade station equipped with a solar power system, electronic hydraulic controls, telemetry, piping, site fencing, and sunshade. The contract emphasizes strict adherence to technical standards, environmental and safety regulations, and precise submittal procedures, including operation manuals, control diagrams, and testing plans. Bidding is open to qualified contractors, with proposals due by December 4, 2025, submitted electronically via the City of Norco Vendor Portal. The project is estimated to take 190 working days from notice to proceed, with liquidated damages of $1,000 per day for delays. Inspection and acceptance procedures involve both factory and field inspections, with final approval contingent upon successful operational testing at the site. While the contract references various certifications, representations, and special provisions, specific clauses, amendments, or contract modifications are not explicitly detailed, indicating a project-specific bid package tailored to the scope of work.
