Summary:
The Department of National Defence (DND) Real Properties Operations Unit (West) Section Edmonton (RPOU(W) Sect. Edm.) has the requirement for as-and-when requested snow clearing, snow removal and sanding services, including the provision of all estimates, labour, equipment, material, transportation and supervision required to perform the services at pre-defined and other areas within Garrison Edmonton, Edmonton Alberta. The period of the requirement will be three years, with Canada retaining the irrevocable option to extend by an additional two (2), one (1) year periods.

Bid Submission:
This bid solicitation allows bidders to use the CPC Connect service provided by Canada Post Corporation to transmit their bid electronically. Bidders must refer to Part 2 entitled Bidder Instructions, and Part 3 entitled Bid Preparation Instructions, of the bid solicitation, for further information.
Faxed bids will be accepted at 1-418-566-6167.
Hard copy (submitted in person or via mail/courier) bids will not be accepted for the subject Request for Proposal.
Important Notice to Bidders:
Conditional reserved bidding under the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business.
This is an open competition however, this solicitation may be reserved among Indigenous Businesses if two conditions are met:
- bids from two (2) or more Indigenous Businesses are responsive with the mandatory requirements of this Request for Proposal, and
- bids from two (2) or more Indigenous Businesses are, in the evaluation team’s opinion, not affiliated within the meaning used in the Competition Act, R.S.C., 1985, c. C-34.
Indigenous Businesses is here defined as an entity which has submitted with its bid a valid Annex F - PSIB Certification.
