Description
This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice prepared for a commercial service, and this is not a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This announcement constitutes the only prior notice to solicitation. The USG will posted a Solicitaiton for this requirement in teh coming future.
Requested Service:
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items and services necessary to ensure that snow/ice removal on sidewalks and parking lots for approximately 202,420 square meters and grass cutting services for approximately 818,340 square meters are performed at Misawa Air Base, Japan in a manner that will ensure a safe environment, promote the growth of healthy grass and present a clean, neat, and professional appearance. The contractor shall accomplish all tasks based on Performance-based Work Statement (PWS).
Period of Performance:
Base Year: 1 Dec 26 - 30 Nov 27
Option Year One: 1 Dec 27 - 30 Nov 28
Option Year Two: 1 Dec 28 - 30 Nov 29
Option Year Three: 1 Dec 29 - 30 Nov 30
Option Year Four: 1 Dec 30 - 30 Nov 31
This service is performed in its entirety in the country of Japan, and the service it critical to Misawa Air Base, Japan; therefore, all of three (3) requirements listed below shall be submitted by the solicitation due date and shall be met to become an eligible for award.
1. Site Visit (Physical Attendance is required): Pre-proposal conference and site visit will be conducted in Misawa Air Base, Japan. Schedule of the conference and the site visit will be notified in the solicitation. All prospective quoters are requested to attend the conference and the site visit.
2. Required Past Performance: Recent and relevant past performance information performed in U.S. Military Installation within 3 years form the issuance date of the RFQ will be required. Relevant past performance means similar performance in scope, magnitude and complexity to the subject service referenced above.
3. If you are to work with subcontractor, you are required to provide the certificate/consent for subcontracting signed by representatives of both parties.
