The County of San Luis Obispo Health Agency Behavioral Health Department is requesting proposals for SLE providers for adult men, women, and women with children who have been identified by the Court, County Probation and Behavioral Health Department as having a Substance Use Disorder (SUD) as established by the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) Screening and Assessment Tool for a Level of Care requiring housing. As community and geographical need for SLEs is always changing, the County seeks to establish a pool of vetted and qualified providers from which to potentially negotiate contracts based on community specific needs. Facilities must meet all licensing, permits, and certifications, and be free of any code violations. This list will be in effect from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026 and placement upon this list does not guarantee a contract for services. The FY 2025-26 total budget for all Sober Living Environment beds is shared among all contracted facilities. Depending on client and community needs, the County may require up to 100 beds at any given time. The budget is approximate and is subject to change at any time based on the County approval process and current needs. Priority will be given to facilities who are certified through the California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals (CCAPP).
