The consultant arranges transportation and medical screenings for children, files court documents within mandated timeframes, and provides testimony during emergency hearings. The position requires close coordination with law enforcement, courts, shelters, and partner agencies, participation in case planning, and transportation of adults or children when needed. The schedule consists of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with on‑call emergency duty during evenings, nights, and weekends for up to half of the assigned tour length, which may span 30, 60, or 90 days. Deliverables include immediate verbal updates to the supervisor, followed by written case notes and documentation within 36 hours. The role requires compliance with tribal 8A regulations, the Native American Child Safety Act, strict federal confidentiality rules, maintenance of suitable housing near the Crow Reservation for rapid response, and adherence to strict driving and safety requirements when operating government vehicles.
