The Naval Research Laboratory has a requirement for Software Defined Radio Test Bed. The attached Statement of Work (SOW) describes the research that the Naval Research Laboratory is interested in. Any interested party should reference the attached document and submit capabilities statements in accordance with the document. This is neither a request for formal Request for Proposals (RFP) or quotes. The Government will not reimburse any costs associated with the development and submission of materials in response to this request. There is no solicitation available at this time. However, should such a requirement materialize, no basis for claims against NRL shall arise as a result of a response to this Request for Information (RFI) or NRL's use of such information as either part of our evaluation process or in developing specifications for any subsequent requirement. Submission Requirements: All companies that can meet the specification as stated in the SOW are encouraged to provide a capability statement, company literature, brochures, or any other information that demonstrates their ability to execute this requirement should be received no later than 14 April 20116 at 2:00 pm eastern standard time to Ms. Dunia Hickey, via email: dunia.hickey@nrl.navy.mil. Please include this notice number on all documents and email. Information and material will not be returned. Classified Material shall not be submitted. No phone solicitations or emails with regards to the status of the Request for Information (RFI) will not be accepted. Responses shall not exceed 10 pages when printed and should be transmitted with attachments in Microsoft Word 2003 or PDF format. Maximum allowed electronic file size is 4 megabyte. No zipped files. As part of the capability package, firms must include the following: (1) Corporate Experience-Does your firm have the work experience similar in nature, scope, complexity, and difficulty of work as indicated in the SOW. (2) Contact information, name, title, telephone number, and e-mail address of designated corporate point of contact for this RFI.
