The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Southern Region Midstates Section Procurement Office intends to award a Sole Source Purchase Order to Deep Cognition, Inc., 2010 Valley View Lane. Suite 320. Dallas, TX 75234. Deep Cognition, Inc. provides a web-based software subscription that is proprietary to Deep Cognition, Inc. the software allows special tracking methods that when used with other products allow in-depth vision into crypto-currency movement. The special programming in this software is state of the art technology that is not met by other software producers in the cryptocurrency tracking industry. This is the only software that is integrated to work with other sole source software used to display graphics and other data to enhance crypto-currency tracking. Without this information criminals will be able to funnel unknown amounts of money out of the system. This access supports the services specifically required for this requirement. The proposed procurement is made under the authority granted under FAR 13.106-1(b) Brand Name Sole Source Justification for Acquisitions at or below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold. The NAICS Code is 541690. This notice is neither a request for proposals nor a solicitation of offers. Any other interested organizations must submit a written statement of their capabilities and qualification to fulfill this requirement to the identified point of contact as soon as possible, but not later than 10:00 (CST) on September 14, 2021. Any such statement of capabilities and qualification received by the deadline will be evaluated solely or for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
