Software Value Added Reseller (SVAR) 2022-2029

The Software Value Added Reseller (SVAR) contract, solicitation number NASPO-ADT-136 and BPM002338, is a cooperative purchasing agreement established by the Arizona Department of Administration in partnership with NASPO ValuePoint. Effective April 25, 2022, the contract provides state and local government entities with a comprehensive portfolio of commercial off the shelf and software as a service solutions. The scope of the agreement is divided into three primary categories: General Software, Microsoft Software, and Oracle Software. Beyond the procurement of software, the contract allows for the inclusion of essential professional services such as installation, configuration, maintenance, and advisory services. The agreement follows a pricing model based on minimum discounts and maximum markups submitted by the awarded suppliers. The initial contract term runs from April 28, 2022, to April 27, 2027, with an optional 24 month extension that allows for a total potential term of seven years. Managed by Lead State Administrator Eric Bell, the procurement process involved a rigorous evaluation of multiple offerors and resulted in ten recommended awards across the three software categories to ensure qualified resellers are available to participating entities.
