Sole Source - AT&T

In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5, this synopsis is posted for the United States Department of Labor (DOL) Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management (OASAM)Contracting Office. This synopsis is to announce the Governments intent to award a sole source to AT&T Telecommunications Inc., in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy Agencys requirements. OASAM anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order to AT&T Telecommunications, Inc., for a period of 12 months beginning on October 1, 2010. The service location is 400 W. Bay Street; Jacksonville, FL 32202. The anticipated cost for the period is $85,000. Services include telecommunications and telephone services to include ISDN, PRI Non-Dist Sensitive Mileage, PRI Voice/DATA Interface, PRI Rate ISDN B-Channel and Business Flat-Rate Multi-Line for 3 seperate accounts with multiple phone/fax lines. The wire and equipment is already set up at the location. This is just a continuation of service. Based on Market Research of Florida's Incumbent Local Exchange Telephone Companies (ILECs) AT&T is the sole landline provider in the Jacksonville area. The anticipated award date is no later than 30 Sept 2010. The intent of this Special Notice is for informational purposes only. However, any and all technical data and information received by the point of contact (POC) listed above by close of business 3 Sept 2010 will be considered for the purpose of market research by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
