Sole Source - Boat Davit Kit

Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) Code 410B Procurement intends to award a Sole Source contract to Caley Ocean Systems Limited to provide a Boat Davit Kit as direct replacement parts in support of the USS ANCHORAGE's Rescue Boat Handling SLAD currently installed on the LPD-17. The requirement will be processed in accordance with FAR part 13. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333999 and the business size standard is 500 employees. Caley Ocean Systems is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the Rescue Boat Handling SLAD. There is no other manufacturer to provide a similar service and there are no authorized distributors in the United States. This notice is neither a request nor a solicitation of offers; however, all information received within 5 business days after date of publication of this synopsis will be reviewed by the Government for future considerations. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. Responses must provide clean and concise documentation indicating a vendor's bona fide capability to provide this product or the equivalenc. Requests must include company name, address, telephone number of the requester, e-mail address, Cage code and business size. Certifications in the System for Acquisition Management must be current and active to be eligible for contract award.
