This contract involves a sole source procurement for MK82 connectors and electrical printed circuit boards required by the Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane. The components are integral to the Gyro Block Assembly within the MK-99 Fire Control Systems Radar, which maintains target lock despite ship movement and ocean conditions. The contract emphasizes the importance of proper registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) and encourages capable vendors to submit capability statements for future consideration, although the government retains sole discretion to determine whether to proceed with competition. The solicitation, issued under FAR Part 13 procedures, is publicly available on SAM.gov, replacing FBO.gov, and any updates or amendments will be posted there. Interested vendors must monitor the site for changes and submit their offers via email by August 22, 2025, at 2:00 PM Eastern Time.
