The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Job Order to BAE Systems Australia for repairs of Canister Sleeve Assemblies and Data Link Covers, supporting the Nulka Electronic Decoy Cartridges program. This sole-source contract is awarded under a Basic Ordering Agreement specific to the contractor identified by solicitation number N0016410GWM180013. The justification for the sole-source procurement is based on the proprietary technical data associated with the system, which would make reverse engineering both costly and time-consuming. The contract will not be publicly solicited through traditional means such as FedBizOpps or NECO, and no solicitations will be mailed. Interested and responsible parties may submit capability statements, proposals, or quotations directly to the NSWC Crane Point of Contact, Mr. John Burkhardt. Submissions through NECO’s "Submit Bid" function do not guarantee proper receipt, making direct communication with the designated contact essential for consideration. The contracting office is located at NSWC Crane in Indiana, and this contract falls under the NAICS code 334511, which relates to communications equipment manufacturing. This procurement supports continued maintenance and advancement of key defense technology utilized by the NSWC Crane Division.
