In accordance with the statement of work, tasks include Ship Production Planning and Engineering; Systems Engineering; Combat Systems Test Engineering; Post Delivery Planning, Engineering and Management; Engineering Services, Configuration and Data Management and Logistics Support. This effort will be conducted on a sole-source basis in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. SERCO INC. is the only vendor capable of continuing to provide the Navy uninterrupted services in the allotted timeframe. A formal solicitation will not be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested entities may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and detail its ability to be fully operational by 01 November 2021. The objective is to verify that the Combined All-Domain Command and Control System Afloat (CAC2S Afloat) Data Processing Assembly and Workstation Mount meet naval shipboard survival and operational requirements following a hardware technology refresh.
