The Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane is seeking a sole source contract with Raytheon Company to provide engineering services and supplies for the AN/SPY radar system, MK99 fire control system, AN/SPS-49 radar system, and related transmitter groups and ancillary equipment. This action is justified under the authority that Raytheon is the only responsible source capable of supporting these specialized systems. The government intends to establish a Basic Ordering Agreement with a five year ordering period and an estimated maximum award value of 49 million dollars. Under this agreement, individual Job Orders will define specific requirements and delivery terms. The initial Job Order is expected to cover qualified personnel support, miscellaneous supplies, and travel for the AN/SPY and AN/SPS-49 systems. While the government is pursuing a sole source negotiation, other responsible sources may submit capability statements for consideration. All contractors must maintain active registration in the System for Award Management to be eligible.
