Full Description

The United States Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Centers, Industrial Operatons Division Norfolk, VA anticipates awarding this procurement to Ring Power Crane, DUNS 002812089 for having proprietary engineering technical data for: 1.The manufacturer shall remove the telescoping actuators from the Grove Crane to to replace the leaking seal. All hydraulic lines removed shall be capped. Vendor shall than disassemble, clean, inspect, repair, and then reassemble the actuator so that it is fully operational IAW with the OEM to include adding necessary lubrication fluids. The crane shall be transported to the vendor's repair facility to conduct this repair. This procurement will be made on behalf of the USCG IPD JACKSONVILLE. Vendor will provide the part/supply stated in the solicitation description. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No solicitation will be issued, however all responses received on/before 0800 EasternTime, Aug 24th, 2020 will be reviewed by the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
