The Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division is seeking a two year Firm-Fixed-Price contract for Handheld Long Range Thermal Imager Sensor Systems, specifically part number 26662-202. The procurement includes a minimum quantity of thirty-eight units with an option for an additional twenty-two units. This action is intended as a sole source procurement with FLIR Surveillance, Inc., as they are identified as the only responsible source capable of meeting the agency requirements without causing unacceptable delays. The decision to restrict competition is based on the estimated twenty-four month delay that would occur if a different system configuration had to be developed, tested, and fielded for compatibility with Ground Based Operational Surveillance System Light Surveillance Systems. The contract is anticipated to be awarded under FAR part 15, with an expected award date of September 30, 2018. Delivery and acceptance terms are set as F.O.B. Destination.
