The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division is planning to modify an existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with Crane Electronics, Inc. located in Fort Walton, Florida, to support the Low Voltage Power Supply (LVPS) and Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) systems. This modification aims to enable procurement of supplies, services, and data necessary for establishing and sustaining the Organic Repair Depot, ensuring repair capabilities and long-term support, along with providing subject matter expert assistance to the NSWC Crane Fleet Support Team. The procurement is a sole-source acquisition due to the specialized nature of the equipment, which must be fully compatible with existing aircraft systems, and because the Government lacks the rights to manufacture the necessary technical data for spare parts. No formal solicitation will be issued via public channels such as FedBizOpps or NECO, and no hard copies will be distributed. Interested and responsible parties may submit capability statements, proposals, or quotations directly to the designated point of contact at NSWC Crane, Ms. Kathy Gaither. It is the offeror's responsibility to ensure submissions reach the proper individual in the correct format, as electronic bid submissions through NECO may not guarantee this. Only those who submit proposals will receive any amendments or changes after the closing date and be considered for further discussions or contract award. The contracting activities are managed through the NSWC Crane office in Indiana, with a focus on maintaining operational readiness and sustainment of critical aircraft power systems.
