AMENDMENT 0001: This amendment is hereby issued to include the following: 1.) Extend the offer due date from 17 March 2022 2:00PM to 25 March 2022 2:00PM. All other information remains the same. N0016422Q0037 - SOLE SOURCE - PROCUREMENT OF ULTRA-LOK BAND CLAMPS - PSC 4730 - NAICS 332722 Issue Date: 15 February 2022 - Closing Date: 17 March 2022 - 2:00 PM EDT The proposed contract action is for the procurement of Ultra-Lok Band Clamps for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, Band-It-IDEX, Incorporated, 4799 Dahlia St., Denver, CO 80216-3222 (CAGE 3BBM2) under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (a) (2). This is being sole sourced because it is a modified commercial item specifically designed for the TR-343 Sonar Transducer. The designs are owned by Band-It-IDEX and therefore cannot be produced by any other vendors. If alternate vendors are selected, their design would have to undergo full first article testing that could take up to one year to complete. Furthermore, if the new vendor is not capable of meeting the requirements there is high likelihood that ship schedules will be significantly impacted. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on SAM registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling +1 (555) 000-0000 or via the internet at https://www.sam.gov. Contract Opportunities on https://sam.gov/ has officially replaced Beta.sam.gov All changes that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to Contract Opportunities on https://sam.gov/. For changes made after the closing date, only those Offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and / or award. Questions or inquiries should be directed to Matthew Swartzentruber, Code 0221, telephone +1 (555) 000-0000, e-mail contact@example.gov. ENVIRONMENTAL QUALIFICATION TESTING (EQT)
Solicitation # N0016427SNC12
The US Navy, through NSWC Crane, is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) under announcement N00164-27-S-NC12 to identify qualified contractors capable of performing Environmental Qualification Testing (EQT) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMI) testing. The objective is to verify that the Combined All-Domain Command and Control System Afloat (CAC2S Afloat) Data Processing Assembly and Workstation Mount meet naval shipboard survival and operational requirements following a hardware technology refresh. Testing must adhere to several military standards, including MIL-DTL-901E for shipboard shock, MIL-STD-167-1A for vibration, MIL-STD-461G for electromagnetic interference, MIL-STD-810H for environmental engineering, and MIL-STD-1399 for shipboard power interfaces. Interested parties must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and the Joint Certification Program (JCP) to access the full Statement of Work. The government is seeking capabilities and budgetary estimates from commercial firms, non-profits, and academic institutions, with a strong encouragement for small and disadvantaged businesses to respond. Submissions, which may include a white paper of up to five pages and company literature, are due by November 18, 2026. While this RFI is used for market research to determine if the effort should be pursued via sole source or competitive procurement, the government explicitly states that no funding is currently available and this notice does not constitute a formal solicitation or commitment to award a contract.
