Mimaki has limited licensed distributors for specific regions, and the dealer in our region is MAC Papers, LLC. They are also the technicians that service Mimaki printers in our region. In summary, there is one printer that meets the needs of NSWC PCD Code 1032 and is TAA compliant; and one dealer in our region that supplies the printer and performs maintenance on it. As such, the government does not expect significant savings through competition, and it is more advantageous to the Government to award on a sole source basis to MAC Papers, LLC for the items listed above
